A Fun (but busy) Weekend
This weekend started by returning to school Friday evening for the band concert. It was called Starfire Night after the title of the first song.
First the Beginning Band (Grade 5) played a few songs.
Then the Advanced Band (more advanced middle school students) played a few.
The rest of the middle school students joined for an additional few songs – comprising the Middle School Band.
Then the High School Symphonic Band played several pieces. They started with a piece that took portions of 5 songs from Les Mis. I really enjoyed that one!
Then Saturday night was the Middle School Banquet. It was at school on the grass by the playground. It was really nice! Our Stuco members (student council) and their adviser were in charge. It was a fun evening. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures!
